Your Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
+ Work closely with cross functional support team focused on improving performance, operator interface, downtime occurrences, and overall system reliability to positively impact Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency metrics at Horicon Works
+ Develop strategy for driving innovation into Horicon Manufacturing Processes including advanced line conveyance, vision, and smart tools
+ Lead cross functional team to justify capital spend and execute project plans to implement the strategy
+ Serve as project lead for projects requiring modifications to current line design as it relates to advanced line conveyance
+ Define project scope and obtain required cross functional and contracted support to achieve project objectives
+ Serve as Horicon Works representative on the corporate Manufacturing System Competency Team. The competency is focused on providing standardized and integrated tools to accomplish the required work to bring products from design to manufacturing execution.

What Skills You Need
+ 3 or more years' experience in manufacturing engineering role
+ 3 or more years' of proven experience with Manufacturing Execution and Automation systems
+ 3 or more years' experience planning, organizing, and implementing engineering projects and/or assignments
+ Knowledge of manufacturing and material flow processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and workstation layouts
What Makes You Stand Out
+ Experience with automation, PLCs, robotics, AGVs
+ Experience working with Factory Automation, Maintenance, and System Integrators
+ Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools
+ Experience with CIPP (Continuous Improvement Pay Plans)
+ Experience with WPlanner
+ Knowledge of capital budgeting and the capital equipment justification process
+ Understanding of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)
Education (or equivalent work experience)
+ Must have an engineering degree, related technical degree, or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
